Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for an Administrator to join our team at Rutland Manor Nursing Home. Based in Ilkeston, DE7, Rutland Manor provides care and nursing support to older people, people living with dementia and provides support for challenging needs.

Experience: We are looking to speak with applicants that have experience of working as an Administrator in a care setting and have worked on payroll preparation, rotas, staff files and have overseen recruitment and onboarding. Recruitment responsibilities include arranging interviews, recording interview notes if requested and ensuring the relevant checks such as DBS and references have been completed for new starters, alongside ensuring training requirements are met.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. However, work outside of these hours may be required to meet business needs. The salary is dependent on experience.

Required: Experience of working with Excel. Driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Further responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate records of the home in line with Company policy and procedures
  • Prepare and issue reports as required
  • Process receipts of monies against Clients’ accounts. Maintain records and assist clients with accessing funds and settling accounts on their behalf, if required
  • Maintain Staff attendance records
  • Maintain files for Clients and Staff in line with Company procedures and regulation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Home Manager
  • Answer the telephone, respond to enquiries from Clients and Visitors at Reception, and re-direct enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Maintain stationery supplies

Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Registered Manager at Haddon House Nursing Home. At Haddon House, we provide care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia and associated mental health needs.

Location: Clowne S43, and is commutable from areas including Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield and Sheffield.

CQC Rating: GOOD

Hours: This is a full-time position which includes a share of on call duties.

As a Registered Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the running of the nursing home. This will include but is not limited to, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, budgets are maintained, and all regulatory requirements are adhered to within defined timescales. We will look to you to lead the team, providing support whilst ensuring the delivery of quality care is maintained through assessment, guidance and supervision.

Our team: You will receive input and support from a Senior Management team and our experienced staff team including a Deputy Nurse Manager. Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Ferndene Care Home.

Ferndene is a purpose-built home, located in the residential area of Gainsborough, DN21. The home provides care and nursing support to older people and people living with dementia. We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse that would like to join our supportive and committed team, who work together to ensure the highest levels of care at all times.

Hours: We have 2 positions available. One position is for full time days, temporary, due to maternity cover. We are also able to accept applications for bank shifts.

Shift times: 07:45-20:00

We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

As a Registered Nurse at Monarch Healthcare, your days will be varied and will include:

  • The formulation of person-centred care plans - Reviewing and updating of care plans to reflect client need, ensuring Care Plans are completed and maintained in consultation with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.
  • Administration of medication - Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
  • Monitoring of resident well-being - Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
  • Supervision of the care team when acting as the nurse in charge, ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant Staff Members at the end of each shift.
  • Liaise with Healthcare professionals

Shift times: 3 shifts at 07:00-18:30 and one shift at 15:30-18:30

We work on a rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The rate of pay is in line with national minimum wage.

The rate of pay when working as a Kitchen Assistant is up to £11.44 and up to £11.69 when working as a Cook.

We are looking for an individual who is caring, friendly and able to communicate with people at all levels. Previous experience of food preparation and kitchen support duties is required, alongside a food hygiene certificate.

The main responsibilities of the role include but is not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals
  • Provide for dietary requirements
