Easter celebrations at Monarch Healthcare

Over the Easter weekend our care and nursing homes at Monarch Healthcare hosted Easter fairs, held raffles, enjoyed delicious chocolate, and some of our residents were able to watch chick’s as they hatched. We enjoyed welcoming families, friends and community guests who helped to make the celebrations extra special.

Here’s a recap of some of our wonderful Easter activities:

The gardens at Haddon House Nursing Home were transformed for an Easter party with a bouncy castle and an ambulance tour for visitors to enjoy. There were stalls offering beautiful food and a raffle with funds going towards the purchase of a Magic Table for our residents.

Pinxton Manor Care Home held a coffee morning on Good Friday, with entertainment from an Elvis tribute. The weekend was filled with activities and Arts and Crafts, with beautiful Easter hats being created and a special visit from Hop in Pinxton, Easter Bunny. A further highlight of the weekend saw the arrival of chick eggs, providing many special moments as we watched them hatch.

Autumn Grange Care Home hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on Friday 18 April, with an Easter Fair taking place the previous weekend with sweet treats, hot drinks and goody bags.

We would like to thank our staff members who planned, baked and hosted these activities and events and families, friends and local supporters who came along to join our celebrations.
