Rutland Manor Nursing Home, based in Ilkeston, provides quality accommodation for people living with dementia and people requiring Nursing support, we specialise in supporting people with behaviours that may be challenging to others.

We pride ourselves on ensuring all residents receive individualised care a dedicated team of carers, nurses and activity team.

  • Expert 24 hour nursing care for people at varies stages of dementia and complex needs.
  • Registered Mental Health and General Trained Nurses.
  • Dedicated Recreational Team to maximise each person’s potential.
  • Access to consultant psychiatrist and other specialist services.
  • Sensory garden.

That is why we personally select every member of staff for their positive attitude and enhanced skillset. Our staff training programme ensures high standards are consistently met.

Personalised activities & experiences to remember

Our designated Activities Co-ordinator provides a social and therapeutic activities programme that’s aimed at stimulating physical and mental functions. We get to know each of our residents to ensure there’s something on offer for all to enjoy.

Nutritious meals

Meals at Rutland Manor are all home cooked using fresh, seasonal produce. Our menu is prepared by our cooks, taking into account any dietary requirements, and of course catering to the residents’ favourite meals.

Family & Friends are welcome

We strongly believe our home is indeed the resident’s home and openly encourage family and friends to become part of our extended family. Relatives are encouraged to join in with activities either virtually or, when possible, in person.
