Activities Coordinator - Sheffield - Make a difference every day!
We are looking for a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Heeley Bank Care Home.
Located in Heeley, Sheffield, Heeley Bank is a purpose-built residential and nursing home that provides high-quality care and support for older adults, including people living with dementia. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating enjoyable experiences and promoting wellbeing through a varied programme of activities and events.
Position Details:
- Rate of Pay: £12.80 per hour
- Hours: 32 hours per week. 08:00-16:30 however, flexibility to working hours is required to support with activities and events.
- Schedule: Rota basis which includes weekends and bank holidays
- Location: Sheffield, S2

Responsibilities: As an Activities Coordinator, you will:
- Create, plan and implement monthly activity programmes that consider the individual needs and choice of all people who live within the care home
- Create an atmosphere of social inclusion and purposeful days
- Work to a budget and create methods of fundraising
- Maintain up to date records of daily activities using appropriate documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a care setting and/or developing and organising a range of events and activities, that promote purposeful days. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and plan and produce a variety of documents and supporting material to enhance the home’s activities programme.

Position Details:
Rate of pay: in line with national minimum wage
Hours: 24 hours per week.
Schedule: Rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
Shift Times: 6-hour shifts between 08:00–14:00 (early) and 14:00–19:00 (late), including a combination of both shift types.
Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE13

Responsibilities: As a Domestic Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.
Further responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Adhere to the home’s cleaning schedules
Provide deep cleaning and preparation of bedrooms as required
Manage cleaning supplies and notify the Home Manager or appropriate person when new supplies are required.
Ensure the appropriate agent is used for each area to be cleaned
Adhere to health and safety, and infection control policies and ensure cleaning is in line with recommendations. Adhere to the Care Centre’s disposal of waste and COSHH policies.
You will be joining a supportive team who are focused on providing the highest level of person-centred care. Alongside this we offer the following:
