Responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:
- Care planning: Formulating, reviewing and updating person-centred care plans to reflect residents’ needs, in consultation with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policies.
- Medication administration: Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Monitoring resident wellbeing: Identify and report any ill health amongst residents and arrange GP or professional visits where required.
- Leadership and supervision: When acting as Nurse in Charge, supervise the care team and ensure clear and concise handovers at the end of each shift.
- Multidisciplinary working: Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Experience: We are currently seeking RGN-qualified Nurses with experience working within a nursing home.

We are recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join our team at Kingfisher Court Residential Home in Clifton, NG11.

Senior Care Assistant - Clifton Position Details:
- Schedule: Rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
- Rate of pay: Up to £13.71 per hour, including increments for NVQ 2 and 3
- Shift Times: 19:45-08:00
- Location: Clifton, NG11 (Please consider travel times, including on weekends, before applying)
- Required: NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or above

Responsibilities: As a Senior Care Assistant at Monarch Healthcare, you will support with the delivery of quality care, ensuring the highest levels of care are always maintained. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the highest levels of care are maintained by supporting Clients with all aspects of daily living and providing support to staff members, ensuring shifts run in an efficient manner
- Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs. Complete, observe and review care planning needs, and complete written daily records as required and in line with the Company’s policies and procedures
- Answer the nurse call system, giving assistance as required
- Report on the well-being of Clients and liaise with healthcare professionals
- Clean and maintain equipment. Ensure the Care Centre remains clean and tidy
- Dispense medication, if required, and ensure the correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication
